Title: THEACHERS AND THEIR TEACHING PRACTICES: PROCESSES OF REFLECTION

Abstract: The school, in its various educational modalities from preschool to higher education, is a place of multiple experiences and that privileges the relationship with knowledge. However, the teaching practices that are developed throughout the school year are not always recorded in a systematic way by the school staff. In this symposium, which aims to promote discussion and exchange on issues relating to the initial and continuing education, we aim to congregate works that have the reflection of teaching practice as the main theme. Thus, we hope to share in this meeting the various forms that educators use to reflect about their doings still within their training process and during its operational process. Instruments such as logbooks, professional portfolios, recordings and photographs can be presented as resources for promoting reflective process in both training courses. We intend, during the workshop, to share, in addition to recording instruments, the line of thought developed in the course of teaching. Academic researches of the coordinators of the symposium, as well as the discussant, deal with problematic issues about the practice of beginners or continuing education teachers who expect to dialogue with the propositions that the tenderers to join the symposium will presenin their oral speech.
