Title: DISCURSIVE PRACTICES OF POLITIC, LITERATURE, JOURNALISM AND RELIGION AND EFFECTS OF MEANING IN TEACHING.

Abstract: The objective of this Symposium is to bring together different research focusing on discourses in circulation in brazilian society, especially those that favor politic, literary, journalistic, religious, and that can make an interface with teaching. We propose, therefore, to put on discuss various social issues, based on the principle of interdisciplinarity, essential theories and methodologies that particularize the discourse in addressing the challenges the brazilian education. Research that emphasize the relation between social issues and teaching, stricto sensu, has proven effective in the classroom, in that intervene directly on the social life of students and teachers. Thus, learning the language as a basic instance of communication and interaction by the which politic, literary, journalistic and religious practices are instituted, as well  the subjects that set out, this Symposium is defined as a space where researchers, teachers and students can share ideas and seek proposals for intervention in teaching and learning of mother tongue. On this follows the relevance and the productivity of Discourse Analysis, because it established as a critical-reflective method, capable of observing social practices and, consequently, the human being.
