Cod. MES007 - ABSTRACT
Title: HUMOR AND PRESS
Authors / Institutions:
ANA ROSA FERREIRA DIAS (PUC-SP / USP)
The printing press organizes different ways to construct reports and, therefore, to constitute what is called social reality. The humoristic discursive act is one of the strategic procedures of the saying, in the mediatic context, which makes the partners of the communicative situation have the feeling of pertaining to a group with which they share values and interests. The humor, topic which we are concerned in this exposition, will be seen as one linguistic-discursive strategy at the service of the construction of a reality constituted and ordered within the discourse. Charaudeau (2006) and Bergson’s (2004) studies, among others, will support our reflections.
Keywords: humor; journalistic discourse; discursive reality; linguistic-discursive strategies.
